  "These guys are just a rip off for service. Had a problem with getting lid off , he did it in an instant , didn't actually screw it back on and left me to it. I noticed vacuum wasn't working cos the lid CANT be screwed back in. $126 for the pleasure and still have issues. One time too many guys "

  "Very poor attitude to customers from manager/owner?.
  We have been dealing with them for 20 years almost and spent thousands $$ with over that time.
  Most the time we buy our chemicals from them although lately their prices are way more expensive than Bunnings just down the road.
  I recently took some water in to get tested because it was a bit cloudy and wanted to buy whatever I needed off them to put it right.

  The manager overheard the sales assistant ask me where I'm buying my chlorine… and as it happens we have been buying it from Pool Doctor but the last lot was Bunnings because it was about 2/3rds the price. The manager butted in and said "go take your sample to them to test for free". The sales assistant then told the manager everyone lately has started buying from Bunnings instead of them.
  
  After spending almost 20 years buying from Pool Doctor and thousands $$, the manager was effectively telling me to bugger off and I advised him I took offence to his attitude given the amount we've spent with him and the years of support.
  
  This man should not be in business. He did not apologise or appear in the slightest remorseful of his attitude toward customers. I was there to spend money and support his business. As it happened I ended up spending another $70 or so, despite the manager's attitude. If he owns this business, then either he's making far too much money to care about customers, or is on the way out. Either way, he shouldn't be in business and customers who go the this shop should be ready for an experience in appauling customer service.

  "Took my pool pump/filter in they replaced the internal filter, it started leaking about 3 months after repair, dealt with a couple of grumpy old men, arrogant and felt like they are just rip off merchants. Best to avoid."

  "No actual job done, this is about shoody product sold by this company. Have dealt with this company for years. Service always poor but product fine until now. Purchased liquid chlorine, have maintained our pool crystal clear for 15+ years, full understand what chemicals to use, when and what they do, have maintained pools for over 35 years. we place chlorine in our crystal clear pool and immediatly it went green. Husband went to Pool Dr following day and was told all sorts of nonsense but sold… lots of other products. We both went back later and encountered the Manager/Owner, to say the least he was rude - he refuse to listen to the fact we had crystal clear pool till his product went in, refused to listen when we told him we tested chlorine and it registered as "Not Chlorine" he told me rudly I was talking through a hole in my head. Would not help us. Would never recommend this company."

  "I took my pool motor in to have the capacitor replaced dealt with the manager on front desk he was pushy to have it fully serviced I didn\'t wont that and was very clear that was all I wanted done was to replace the capacitor. Instead they did extra work costing a lot more and couldn\'t even prove they had done it because they didn\'t keep the old parts. Best to avoid these cowboys because no matter how clear your instructions are with them they will try to rip you off."
