About us
Prime Coat is a local Auckland painting team providing reliable interior and exterior house painting. We work with homeowners, landlords, and builders on everything from small touch-ups to full house repaints.
We believe in doing the job properly — good prep, quality materials, and a tidy finish. Easy to deal with, honest with pricing, and we always aim to leave the place looking better than when we arrived.

What we do
We handle painting projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. Our services include interior and exterior house painting, cedar cladding, decks, roof painting, and window restoration.
We also specialise in restoring older homes and bringing tired surfaces back to life with careful preparation and quality finishes.
In addition, we provide professional plastering and stopping for gib (drywall), ensuring smooth surfaces ready for painting.
We focus on proper preparation, attention to detail, and a clean, long-lasting finish.

"Got these guys in to paint the timber skirting around the house and the front door. The skirting looks sharp now and the door came up mint — totally changed the look of the entrance. Good attention to detail."

"Really happy with the work. He painted our two-room sleepout for seasonal workers and sealed up all the gaps. The place looks much better now. Because the job was so good, I asked him to paint my honey sales office as well. Walls and ceilings look great and one wall was clear-coated just how I wanted. Job was done on time and everything looks mint. Very reliable. Would definitely use again."
