"My work van had been sitting idle for most of the covid lockdown, and it was well past the due date for the warrant - by over 8 months. The battery was dead and the thing had issues due to neglect and lack of use, as vehicles tend to do. Mike fixed it all in the matter of a few days ( there was a bit of work and part replacement involved) and he did his best to keep costs fair and manageable. Always a smile when I got there, and he even remembered my name, which is rare these days. Straight up guy with a good reputation. I will be using him here on out for all my vehicles. 100% recommend."

"my car developed a horrible noise until it was undriveable.....happened to be in their neighbourhood picking something up off trade me. these guys were fantastic! took it in their stride i hadn't booked and wasn't a normal customer, sorted out the problem, got in the parts and fixed it all within 3 hours. super super grateful. another customer said to me she has used them all her life and they are awesome. i would whole heartedly agree. thank you so much guys. :) highly recommend."

"I more than happy to recommend Ranui Automotive. Mike and his team had been servicing all my cars for about 9 years. Usually it was during WOF check they picked up some issues, called me back, then fixed them. So I just drove until next WOF, there were no any emergencies. If I complained about something myself, they did their best to find the cause. In rare cases when they could not do repair themselves, they recommended who could do the job, and those guys were as good as well.
I am moving too far away now and can't use their service any more.

"Found the business on NC, checked out their awesome ratings and feedback, they are local so I thought I would take my car in because I really needed a WOF, the team were friendly and they welcomed me into the workshop, I arrived early, they hadn\'t even opened yet but still invited me in. It only took him about 10mins to check over the car, and the receptionist lady was chatting to me the whole time, she was pretty funny!
I felt real comfortable, the service is 2nd to none, and value for money, but the experience was great and why I will always go back to Ranui Automotive.

"I was going away for easter with the family & our car needed to have the front brakes replaced urgently. It was the Thusday afternoon before the long weekend & Mike managed to fit me into the Ranui Automotive with zero notice to ensure my car was safe to go away for the Easter break. They compleated the job to a very high standard fitting quallity brake pads which gave me peice of mind. While my car was there, they understood I was driving to Taupo for the weekend & checked the entire car for any potentian problems to ensure I enjoyed trouble free motoring over the holiday break. I would like to recomend the team at Ranui Automotive as there service, attention to detail & good old school work ethic was AA. Thanks Mike, I will be back."

"I\'ve been going to the same mechanic for ages but unfortunately he had to retire due to poor health, so when one of my mates told me to go to Ranui Autos for a minor car repair, I did & was greeted by the most freindly, approachable mechanics I have ever come across. Talk about one of the biggest workshops in West Auckland too! Impressive I must say...6 big bays, a big waiting room & an impressive dedicated kiddies playroom with heaps of toys for the kids to occupy themselves while the cars getting done. When I arrived there were cars everywhere, at least 20. I thought they\'re way too busy to even look at my car! No sooner had I gotten out of the car I was greeted by Mike, I explained to him there was a weird noise coming from one of the wheels, he hopped in & took it for quick ride & put it over the pit & went straight to work on it, he pulled a wheel off & did something which took less than a minute, he put the wheel back on & off he went again for a ride, when he returned he showed me a peice of gravel that was stuck in the backing plate of the brake disc...all fixed!!! I asked him how much & he said it was so minor it wasn\'t worth charging! He was so freindly and always smiling. Mike, you\'re the man.
