"We recently had both of our bathrooms renovated by Rob at Refit Renovations and it was the most stress-free, easy process ever. Rob’s professional input into the decision-making process was invaluable. Rob started our first bathroom (our main bathroom) in December 2025 and our Ensuite was completed in February of this year. The timeframe Rob gave us for each bathroom to be completed was 3 week. (3 weeks to completely demo a bathroom and then renovate it). Both our Main Bathroom and our Ensuite were completed a couple of days early of the 3 week mark.

His entire team—including the tiler, electrician, painter, and plumbers—was meticulous, with a high level of attention to detail. Communication was excellent; whenever Rob told us a contractor would be on-site, they arrived exactly when expected. "Rob and his team at Refit Renovations undertook a complete renovation of our original condition 50+ year old family bathroom in April 2025.

He provided an itemised and detailed fixed price quote for the work involved, which we accepted. The renovation started on time on the agreed date and was carried out professionally to completion in the agreed 3 week timeframe. Rob's communication with us throughout was first class, and the end result was a high quality product that we were very pleased with.

This gave us the confidence to ask Rob to also renovate our en-suite, and our positive experience with this second project in August 2025 was a repeat of first time round. We absolutely love our en-suite with its functionality and its high quality fixtures and finishes. Out ensuite was completed gutted and rebuilt and our main bathroom we added new tile flooring, new vanity and toilet. "When the time came to replace our very shabby bathroom, I chose Refit Bathroom Renovations based on the excellent reviews on this site. We are extremely satisfied with the result and can’t recommend Rob enough.

As others have said, Rob is an excellent communicator and has assembled a quality team of tradies. Our renovation was never going to be straightforward - the bathroom was built onto an older house in the 1990s and was not done well. Rob found creative ways to overcome challenges and always checked in with me before making changes to the plan.

Rob is a perfectionist with excellent attention to detail. After the job was complete, he called to say that he wasn’t happy with the design of the small vanity in the toilet, which had led to the door marking the wall. He proposed a solution, fixed the issue and restored the paintwork. This wasn’t an issue that he was responsible for, but he wasn’t happy to leave it.

The quality of the work is consistently outstanding; the tiling deserves a special mention as Kenny was meticulous. Overall, we think we got excellent value for money considering the quality of the work and the fact that Rob made the process easy for us. Highly recommended."

"I contacted Rob in February 2019 and he came around as arranged to look at the job to replace a standalone WC and family bathroom. He gave straight forward and practical advise after listening to what I wanted and our budget.
Work started as arranged in May 2019. Rob was a great communicator - not pushy at all - asks open questions, gives his opinion but leaves it to you to decide. I trusted his judgement on things I wasn't sure about as you can see he leads his team professionally and is experienced. His team was flexible in working around some other trades people we had coming and going completing other jobs around our home. They were also friendly and respectful. The job was completed to the timeframe given and all rubbish etc was gone that day.
The thing that stands out the most is the quality of the workmanship. Our family is ecstatic with the end result. Everything is better than we imagined, the finishing is immaculate. The price was also reasonable - we had several other quotes with much higher costs quoted.

"This was a complete reno of our family bathroom - new tiled shower, bath, vanity, the works. Renovating a bathroom isn't cheap and you want a good job done that is going to last.
Rob is a guy you can completely trust - he turns up when he says he'll turn up, and communicates everything clearly and honestly from the planning to completion. He oversees every stage of the work and is a real stickler for detail and a high level of finish. He will give you suggestions about what fixtures you might like but is also completely open & supportive of any ideas you have (in our experience this is a rare quality). He is VERY particular in measuring and giving an accurate quote too!
All the planning and choosing fixtures took us a while (too many options, too indecisive) but once we'd made decisions we locked in a date with Rob and, on the day they promised, the work began.
We felt very confident having Rob and his team in the house - they are all lovely and very professional, managing to be friendly without being intrusive. Every day at the end of the day's work they cleaned up and left the house neat, which we really appreciated. Special mention must be made of his tiler Danny, who did the most perfect job of tiling I have ever seen, as well as being a thoroughly nice guy.
There were a few complications and the job took slightly longer than expected but Rob was right onto it to put everything right as soon as possible, keeping us informed along the way.
We are thrilled with our new bathroom and would recommend Rob & his team to anyone who wants a really good job done in a straightforward and reliable way."

"We love our new bathroom. A complete overhaul of a job. The old bathroom completely ripped out and a new one installed in under two weeks, as promised.

Rob was amazing to deal with. He works with an incredibly high level of professionalism. He chose quality fittings that were perfectly installed by equally professional tradesmen.

All of the tradesmen contracted by Rob to complete each phase of refit did a beautiful and Rob made sure each and every phase was booked in and completed to schedule.

We were not available to remain in the house while the work was being undertaken, and we were more than comfortable leaving the tradesmen in our home unattended.

Nothing was too much trouble for Rob or any of the tradesmen working on our bathroom.

"Rob rebuilt my Mother's bathroom so she had a wet room shower rather than the climb over a15cm lip into a 1970 designed shower box. This was necessary due Mum being 85 and recently having a fall. I contracted Rob while visiting NZ, and Rob did the job while I was working in the Middle East. Great job. "Highly recommend Rob and his team. I live in Australia and initially decided on Refit Renovations because of the great service Rob offered. At quote stage he was happy to my answer my gazillion questions and clarify things. A few changes were made to the original brief but Rob was upfront about the additional costs involved.

Once the job started, he and his team turned up on time and always left the house tidy. After the first day on the job, Rob ensured he gave me an update on what they found and the schedule for the next two weeks.

We had a hiccup with the tiles we chose (our fault not his) but Rob managed this with ease, eventually choosing a tile for us that I absolutely love and a complimentary colour for the wall.

"Rob and his team at Refit Renovations were brilliant to work with. Everything went along smoothly and on time. I was based out of Auckland and so I had to find someone I could trust that could take care of everything for me. That can be very daunting, but Rob made me feel at ease and took control, providing a very detailed and competative quote and commitment to have the job done in the time frame I needed. I eventually met Rob and his workers when they were in full swing ripping my old bathroom out and working towards a brand new one. They were very professional and you could see they were very experienced at what they did and they all worked hard to have the project finished as soon as possible. The end result was a spot on new bathroom which added serious value to my property.Thank you guys I would certainly recommend Refit Renovations to anyone. Kind regards Garry"
