"Total rip off, quoted me $400 for warrant repairs, went elsewhere for $250. tried to charge half an hour labour just to replace wiper blades. on warrant check said it would be ready at 5pm, i sat around waiting for an hour, they didnt apologise for the wait. do not use this place!"

"Expensive, rude and incompetent. I took my car for a 100,000km service. I was told I only needed a basic service when I took the car it. When they rang to say it was ready they told me no other work was required. When I arrived to collected it a long list of other “immediately necessary” jobs was produced including the cam belt. I asked them was told about this when I brought the car in, I was snappily told they didn’t know what kind of car it was, so how would they know it needed the cam… belt done? I politely pointed out the car is a Toyota so if they didn’t know, who would. In addition they failed to notice the power steering fluid was low, even thought I asked to check it specifically and over filled the engine with oil I took the car to Toyota expecting to pay extra for first class service. I got the premium price, but the service was simply appalling. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE."

"Reference the Corolla 2000 Cambelt / Service Job....I took it back to have the misfire looked at. Took 1.5 days to track down problem. I am pleased to report there was no additional charge. The car now runs perfectly but I feel the initial $945.00 was excessive. "

Toyota Corolla (Year 2000) dropped off for cambelt and a service at Kapiti
No contact during the day. Went to pick up vehicle and was charged $945.00
Makes a mockery of adds for Corolla cambelts from 143.00
The vehicle is now very jerky, misses and is generally worse than it was before the service.
I have bought three vehicles from Rutherford and Bond
