"Dave responded very promptly to my job request and soon visited to assess the job. He then explained what would be involved to fix the leak. He then got the parts and returned two days later to do the job. While we haven't had any rain since he did the job (to test the repair), I am confident he has fixed the problem of water driving in under an aluminium door, in heavy rain and strong driving wind.
He was very pleasant to deal with and clearly explained the proposed solution to fixing the leak.
I would certainly use him again for handyman jobs."

"Our latest job for Dave has been 2 parts a full replacement of all nails on our deck with decking screws and putting in a new galvanised shed. As with all the previous work he's done for us he's done an awesome job with everything from replacing weather boards and re-roofing & repairing one of those box windows that stick out from the main house and many many more.
Dave's done so many things for us that he's always the first call because of his -great quality of workmanship at the right price + the best advice about the options of how you can get any job done.

"Well Dave has done it again !
i had a very heavy , high up kitchen cupoard door decide to come off the top hinge. it was in a very precarious position, dangling by a thread you could say.i was very concerned that it could not be able to support the weight and would crash to the tiled floor.
HELP
I rang Dave first thing in the morning ( having used him before ) he was booked out for the day of course, but once he realised the danger oh the door falling to the ground from that height, he changed his schedule, and was here by lunchtime.
15 mins and the door was back on its hinges
as good as new.
I would always reccommend Dave, fast and reliable.

"David is punctual, polite, has great building knowledge and definitely not a cowboy. It was an urgent job as my shower was leaking causing my floor to become wet and soggy and dangerous. He was available to come when I phoned and fixed both the leak, and replaced the floorboard by lifting the carpet, cutting out the floorboard and replacing and then putting the carpet back in place. This demonstrated he has a range of skills which I appreciated as was a one stop shop. He is very fair and reasonable in his pricing as well, worked well unsupervised and I would highly recommend David. He is a great tradesman to have on hand when needed and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again when required."

"Dave was highly responsive and full of good suggestions about how to best accomplish the work we needed done - the removal of an old built in wardrobe in a couple of rooms, replastering and painting the walls. He was reliable, coming when he said he would. He was punctual, very tidy and did a great job in a short time. We were very lucky as he was also able to help out with an urgent job we needed done urgently. I would highly recommend him."

"Excellent experience with Sail City Handyman service. I have used them quite a few times now, ie. inside painting, fix the fence, mount a TV on the wall, erect a privacy screen and to re-hang an external door. They did an excellent job and were pleasant to have around, accommodating to an older persons needs and good with dogs. Would definitely recommend. We live in the Thames area."

"Marvellous, Dave was great, witty and willing to please. He arrived when he said he would and operated in a safe manner which was great to see. The first job was an awkward kick board replacement which was executed perfectly and the 2nd job was 2 very rotten barge boards - which is a difficult job , other builders had said nah ! He did a perfect job and cleaned up after he'd finished. Well done . I have no hesitation referring him and would call him again for any jobs around the house. His humour was great too - a happy tradie :-)"

"We got Dave and is crew to fix a leak in the kitchen of our rental property ,the water had blown the particle board and made a real mess of the floor , these guys came over no fussing around ,fixed the leak, ripped out the kitchen cupboards , repaired the floor area , replaced the the bottom shelving , remade the cupboard doors that had blown out at the bottom edge , matched and repainted , great job thanks guys"
