I recently had the pleasure of working with Dave Hall to upgrade our alarm system from a pay-monthly monitored setup to a self-monitored system using DSC alarms. From the outset, Dave demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise, making the entire process seamless and stress-free.
Dave's ability to troubleshoot various technical challenges and idiosyncrasies was impressive. He approached each issue with patience and a… positive attitude, ensuring that every aspect of the installation was handled efficiently. Even when faced with unexpected hurdles, Dave went above and beyond, working well beyond the hours initially quoted at no extra charge to ensure the job was completed to an outstanding standard.

"I gave Dave Hall of 'Secure Communications' a genuine very best review a few years ago resolving an installation in a nearby suburb to his office base. Due to yesterdays lightning strike we experienced a very worrying problem and alarm system outage.
A quick call and he made time to come some extra distance without complaint during what is patently a very busy schedule. Absolute top shelf knowledge and fast resolution using quality equipment he had available. More especially some of the gear… might be low voltage but still connected to mains power and the family can now sleep easy knowing its been checked and repaired by a guy I consider the best in the business. Highly recommended...again!"

"I found Dave on No Cowboys after my alarm had been disconnected and wires removed and tampered with. Dave got in contact with me after I left a messasge within less than an hour. We made a day and time and he arrived on time with a courtesy message half an hour before hand.
Dave was very professional, he had all of the equipment he needed and was able to get my alarm back working very quickly.
He offered some excellent security advice also which I gratefully received. He had quoted prior… to arrival and the job (although it took him longer than expected) was charged as per the quote.

Highly recommend Dave for any security/alarm jobs you need done."

"Dave Hall installed a Paradox alarm, replacing my previous alarm in my home that I found difficult to use. He answered my first enquiry very promptly, explained all the options available in detail, and kindly found time to install the alarm just before Christmas, even though I had said I could wait until the New Year. There was a fishhook reconnecting the smoke alarm to the original system but Dave left no stone unturned to get it resolved. I wholeheartedly recommend Secure Communications.

"Dave did a large job for us about 7 months ago - sorry Dave it's taken me so long to put in a review!. We have a large home and loft/garage area. The alarm system was extremely dated and did not work. Dave had to put in alot of time as we needed to integrate wireless and wired across two separate buildings. He had to come back multiple times. This work involved putting in receivers, multiple keypads, multiple sensors, multiple smoke alarms. All these units were a mixture of wired and… wireless. Our garage area is separate from the house, so this inolved the transmitters and additional smokes etc.

Although this was a complex job, Dave was always happy to do the extra research needed to find the solution. He has since been back to change batteries in our alarm and always finds the time (with a smile) to go that extra mile. Value for money is 10/10. I can't rate Dave highly enough. It's great to find someone who stands by their work 100%."

"Had a false alarming issue and got complaint from my neighbor. Tried to email to make appointment. Clare did quick response and Dave showed up within one hour. Dave is really professional and explain the possible reason behind the false alarm triggering. He changed the battery, do calibration and tested alarm after repair. He even offer the return check without charging, exclude the device fee that may involve. Highly recommend them as the first choice of fixing alarm issue. "

"Apologies this is a late feedback. Secure Communications did our house alarm many many years ago. The job was well done and i left a good comment, But after so many years i forgot i had the contact. When the need came to install an alarm in the rental property, i searched no cowboys website and picked Secure Communications by chance (i could not remember the name). They turned out to be very good as usual. Though they installed one more alarm accidently in the house, they still kept the quote… price. And very patient in helping with the alarm code set up. Tenants are happy. I have been very busy recently, but always felt i need to make the comment again so that other people can benefit from the good services. Hence the late comments."

"No cowboys proved a winner. Looking for an alarm technician I was overwhelmed at the choice in what appears a very competitive market so I contacted Dave Hall of Secure Communications on the strength of recent reviews. I was not surprised for my enquiry to be answered by a most professional answering service as my experience of other hands on trades is a real person is always more reassuring than an answering machine or a fumbled answer while they are hanging off a roof. Dave called me back… faster than expected and I explained a very problematic live alarm and ancient old tech smart home integration. I was even more pleased that he could fit me in for a scope and make safe while we resolved an upgrade completed a day later. I observed a tradesman at the top of his game, calm, total understanding and ability to sort decades of complicated wiring all while offering me a full range of solutions from budget to best, no pressure, every option carefully explained. Daves honest attempt to guide me into areas where sensible savings could be achieved was appreciated. Like others have reported, my experience has been just the best."

"Dave was fantastic!!!! Dave was friendly, knowledge and very professional. Dave had open, easy and fast communication. He kept us up to date as to his arrival time as previous jobs has delayed the original scheduled appointment time (which he explained may happen due to the nature of the job and we understood). He fixed our issue quickly and answered many questions we had about security alarms and pets. He was tidy and left no mess. He also did his due diligence and checked our hard wired… smoke detectors and discovered one had it’s wires cut and fixed it! A fantastic company and one I would recommend again and again! "We needed our alarm serviced, it was showing a 'low on battery' fault and one of the sensors was alsp malfunctioning. This meant our alarm was going off at random times resulting in sleepless nights.

"My house alarm started beeping intermittently. After reading the reviews on No Cowboys, I contacted Dave, who offered to come over the same day, but I was at work. He arrived promptly the next day, identified the problem, crawled into a cupboard space to fix it, and gave me a couple of options. The engineer turned up earlier than expected and within a couple of hours of calling them. Was very efficient in working through the problem, reconfigured the alarm, replaced the battery and fully tested within 1/2 an hour.

"We need an alarm to be installed urgently. We found David from the No cowboys website. He responded to my call at the weekend while he was at a BBQ function. After hearing my story, he agreed to come to do a quote on Monday and organized his team to be prepared to start working for me once I accept the quote. We found David very good at providing a good alarm structure for us. And the price is very reasonable. David even organized his team to come back and change the alarm color for me once he… heard that we would wish to have a different color. I would not hesitate to recommend Secure Communication to anyone who needs the service."

"Dion was the man I spoke to, in the office, to co-ordinate the servicing of an alarm for a property I have just moved into. He gave sound advice re desensitising for pets etc. and provided me with an economical solution of servicing the alarm, resetting the codes etc. rather than try to sell me the $200 per sensor option of adjusting for pets. Communicaton was great as we try to juggle different times around my schedule and theirs. Would recommend."
