"The team arrived on time and got into the job immediately. Josh & Dennis worked well together and had a good attitude. They had excellent communication and left the site better presented than when they arrived. he set up equipment and explained the process of firstly inserting a pressure system Hose into affected drain, to get to the blockage however re considered and attached a spinning cutting head which after a few goes got to the problem quite deep into the drain with perseverance cleared the blockage.
finished off with a camera inspection
ALL CLEAR !!!! this saved me $$$"

"Found these guys on No Cowboys and decided to call them as they were local and had great reviews. I can say that i tautoko the reviews they have received - they were magnificent!!! I contacted them at lunchtime and by 2pm Dave had rung me back. we had to email back and forth a few times during the day but they provided a quote that night, booked them in and they arrived THE NEXT DAY. Isaac rang to say he was half an hour away and I was not able to get home but he did the job and it was done- easy peasy. "Ian arrived at our place quicker than we expected and completed his drain investigation efficiently and effectively. He was very friendly and explained to us what he was doing. My 2yo son was very interested in what was happening (from a safe distance) and Ian happily engaged with him and talked about the job. "My experience with the drain company was really good from start to finish. I am 100% happy with their job. Our rental property at Remuera had an unblocked problem causing by root for about 4 days which another company couldn't unblock it and quoted us thousands of dollars to cut concrete and excavate down to the existing sanitary sewer to remove the root and unblock. We engaged the Drain Company for a second attempt and Mitchell attended the job within 2 hours and successfully unblocked and removed roots within an hour from the drain. Dan has saved us thousands of dollars for the unnecessary work to dig into the concrete floor. They are a legend. Highly recommended, and they are the best drainer in Auckland."

"Our drains backed up at the weekend to the point of overflowing. We called The Drain Company who did an amazing job. These guys were professionals who knew their job, knew drains and did not stop until the issues was resolved. They traced what looked like a blocked drain right through to the actual cause, a tree root plug in the main sewer, 30 meters from our house. I don't believe other companies would have managed this. Also, because these guys knew their job, we were able to show the issue was in the main drain which meant we claimed back the cost from Water Care. If you want a team that will tell you what they are doing, have the latest tools and not leave until you are satisfied with the result, these are the guys. Many thanks."

"I first used The Drain Company 12 months ago and I was so impressed I set a reminder in my phone to book them in for a maintenance call this year. They are easy to deal with, explain what they are doing & what they found. Mitch who came this year was so friendly & pleasant I would have no hesitation in recommending this company for drain unblocking.

"very often as a tenant you are overlooked by contractors who provide maintenance or repairable to the place you call home but not on this occasion. Mitch attended the property and considering the work ahead of him he was very polite, respectful and professional. Obviously the work required was rather sensitive and caused a bit of embarrassment on my part but Mitch assured me that it was no problem and made me feel at ease. He took the time to listen to my concerns and equally responded professionally and obviously knew his stuff. Our job was slightly unusual in that we wanted to run the pipes overland down through steep bush land. "Had a blocked bathroom drain - the blockage was underground. Rang Dan on a Friday evening for a Saturday morning fix, he gave an approximate time that one of the guys would be around. Ben texted before arrival, which was really good as we were able to lock the dogs in the house. Ben had to cut the pipe to get better access for the water blasting hose. The repair to the pipe afterwards was thorough and tidy. The blockage was removed. Ben carried on water blasting after the blockage was removed, feeding 20 meters of hose into the pipe - this was to minimize the risk of future blockages. Ben also sprinkled lime on the area around the drain with Lime, due to the overflow that had happened when the pipe blocked, this was to kill the bacteria. Everything is flushing and draining as it should now.
Great work. Thorough and efficient. Thanks to Ben and Dan."

"We had a severely blocked drain, a major root infestation which was diagnosed by another drain company. They were supposed to quote for the job, but didnt even bother to come back to us (still waiting). Very stressful situation as everything blocked up. Emailed Daniel at The Drain Company, he replied very promptly and committed to having somebody on site the next morning. Ben was here promptly at 7.30am, did a CCTV inspection on drain to locate the problem, the other drain company had marked the completely wrong place. Ben answered all my questions with patience and put my mind at ease during what was a very stressful situation as we had only been in the house a few weeks and unable to use our toilet. Daniel had a quote to us within an hour! What great service. He answered all my questions with patience and put my mind at ease. He said he would squeeze us in as soon as possible due to the urgency of our situation. They came within 2 days of giving us the quote. They got out a huge root from our pipe, and didn't have to cut up the whole driveway, only a small portion. He sent me a photo and kept me informed of the progress of the job, even though he is extremely busy. Once again Daniel replied to my questions with patience. They replaced 8 metres of old clay pipe with a pvc pipe. They came back the following day, and finished the job. They have covered up the huge hold in our yard, and even finished off with top soil. They concreted the damaged part of the driveway and restored everything as it was before, they even put the weed mat and bark back in place! Excellent job guys, please extend my thanks to all the guys who did the job, much appreciated. So wonderful to be back up and running and using our toilet and all facilities! "I had the pleasure to deal with Daniel and his staff on 4 occasions, first when my drain got blocked, badly. The Drain Company has located the blockage and the next day, came to do repairs. Their accuracy in detecting the problem and their efficiency was impressive. The site was left clean as if there was no digging whatsoever. Again, I was impressed. Based on this experience, I asked Daniel to investigate the problem of other lines of the cross-lease property. Again, he and his team came on time and did an excellent job. "Wow - fantastic service!
I phoned the The Drain Company when I discovered I had a blocked sewer pipe on my property. Dan said he would be at my home within the hour - and was. After looking at the site, but before beginning any work, he explained what he needed to do to (a)clear the pipe and (b)diagnose the cause of the problem. A quote was given for each of these jobs. I accepted. Daniel then cleared the drain, before completing a CCTV investigation to determine the cause of the blockage. Dan answered any questions about the job and gave clear explanations when needed as I watched the proceedings.
The camera found damage to the pipes and further work was necessary. This was followed up two days later.
On time, efficient and personable, I could not have found a better tradesperson - and I have dealt with many over the years!

"I had a blocked exterior kitchen trap/gully. Tried unblocking myself to no avail. I had called another company first but they mucked me around all morning saying they were coming. "After reading the many 5 star reviews about " The Drain Company " I decided to go ahead and contact them about the flooding problem we had in our basement and I was not disappointed . Daniel arrived on time and turned out to be an extremely nice and knowledgeable person to deal with . His explanation on what he thought had to be done to resolve the problem was very thorough and easy to understand . After giving the go ahead to do the job Steve and the crew arrived on time and the whole job was done to the highest standard . It was a big job that took nine days and involved a lot of excavation around the back wall of the house as well as new drains that had to be laid and connected to some out buildings . The property was left extremely tidy with new top soil being spread over the excavated areas and grass seed sown . The paths and driveway were cleaned as well . I cannot speak highly enough about these guys . They are the best tradesmen I have come across in a very very long time . There work ethics are second to none . "Daniel very efficiently investigated the problem, found damage and roots in a stormwater pipe in a difficult location under the driveway, very neatly cut out a small panel from the drive, dug down to the pipe avoiding power and phone lines directly alongside, cut out the damaged pipe, removed roots and checked the pipe was clear, fixed the pipe, back filled with scoria and earth, and very neatly laid new concrete to match the exposed aggregate pattern of the driveway. "There is a good reason this business has such a high rating. Dan arrived at a different time than arranged but he got in touch early to let me know the delay and midday was all good. He was very thorough and we talked about the issues throughout the drain clearance and CCTV assessment. Two future jobs need to be done now. "Once again, I've got right person done a fantastic job by seaching through the nocowboys. My down sewge drain was blocked 3 weeks ago and the plumber managed to unblock by using plunger, this was first block in 5 years, so I was worried that something worse down in the pipe and I was right, it blocked again and this time plunger is no longer working. I called Dan on Saturday morning, he came to my house on time and effectively did the job that we thought it would be. Then, the only reason that I agreed to let him drop down the camera for a further check was the price he quoted me, you know the most call out businesses would charge a big extra money on weekend or public holidays, but Dan wasn't one of them, I guess that he just wanted to fix the problem for you with a fair price. It was lucky that we run the camera, things came out that a major block by roots in 15meters away from the gully trap. Dan quickly provided the solution.

Steve turned up early Monday morning with a digger, another guy (sorry didn't get his name) joined him a while later, because there is gas pipe also down the same area, so Steve hand digged in most of time. They also answered my concerns during the work which helps me a lot to understand their operations (I believed this is very important to a customers without know-how).

After the pipe relayed and the ground gets refilled and flattened, Steve even spread the lawn seeds for us before he left.

When the ground needs to be open and new pipes goes in, you want to get everything done properly and it wouldn't need to be opened again in the future. These people are trustworthy to deliver this to you."

There was an unexpected blocked drain(sewer) on my property,no prior signs of trouble etc.

"Honest, friendly, hard working, prompt, punctual and on budget are the kind of words that come across my mind when I think of Daniel and his team. I needed someone to identify and repair underground pipes, install new subsoil drains and new channel drains by the driveway and Adam provided me with a quote on the same day with various options to get the job done within the available budget. This was great for me as getting hold of a drainage company to on site is hard these days with the amount of construction jobs across Auckland. Despite the terrible weather the guys willingly gave up their weekend to get the job on time and went beyond what was previously agreed to meet my requests without any questions. As a quantity surveyor working for a main contractor, I am quite particular about choosing the right person to work on my property and I cannot recommend Adam and his team highly enough. In fact I have already asked him to look at doing some more working on the other side of the house."
