"I wasn’t around for most of the installation process so I didn’t catch the names of the two guys that did the job. Without a doubt the best tradespeople we’ve dealt with. They were friendly, efficient and hard-working, and they did a fantastic job. Having seen the work they’d done on my mate’s place, I wasn’t surprised, but we’re both very happy, and I think they’ve just finished another job on another friend’s house. "We could not speak more highly of Craig and his friendly team at Thermawood Double Glazing. From the get go to the installation the process was totally stress free due to the great communication from Craig. The entire team were a pleasure to deal with, hardworking, efficient and very respectful of our home. Targets for individual windows were met each day despite some challenging winter weather, and the attention to tidying up at the end of each day was superb and very much appreciated.

"Craig was great to deal with - very responsive and easy to communicate with. Tab and Darcy who carried out the work were very polite, respectful, and hard working. They were here when they said they'd be here and just got stuck in to it. They tidied up each day and were very thorough and meticulous in the details of their work. Considering this job involves taking your windows out, the level of mess and disruption was less than expected. Already notice the difference to heat retention and sound… reduction. Recommend to anyone who is considering."

"Great job. I had two single pane bungalow windows retrofitted with acoustic double glazing to reduce noise from a shared driveway and noisy neighbours. The result is as was described- noise is muffled and sounds further away. Communication was excellent from planning to quote to installation to invoicing. Craig gave various options and was very patient with my questions. Seisi and the team who did the installation were super efficient, neat, and are really nice guys. I don't think double… glazing is cheap but this feels like good value. I'm looking forward to seeing what the thermal effects are in winter. Highly recommend this business."

"Craig and the other members of the Auckland Thermawood team recently finished replacing the glass on my 1920's bungalow with double glazing units. They retrofitted the new units into my existing wooden joinery. I had them do the first half in August then the second half now. Having experienced the warmer, drier, quieter parts of my house in winter I wish I had the done the whole job in August. I have noticed a huge difference and am very pleased with the finished job. Craig was great to deal… with (as were the rest of his team) and the guys turned up on time and worked hard on the agreed days. As with any old house reno job they came across some challenges but solved them in a way that I was happy with. I have no hesitation in recommending them or their product. I only wish I had done it years ago."

"We are very picky and expect great things from our trades people - and most don't even come close to meeting our expectations. Craig and his team were willing to work with us to achieve what we wanted and were respectful and professional, even though we must have been quite a challenge :)
We got the team to install double glazing with the draft-stop and it is amazing and our house is draft-free finally. The timber joinery of the Thermawood system makes for a finish that keeps with the… traditional style of our home.

"I contacted a handful of businesses about getting double glazing retrofitted into my 1930s duplex and was very glad I chose Thermawood. Craig and Craig gave clear and informed advice, and most importantly for me, they came to do the initial inspection and quote, and they were the ones who actually did the work - it's frustrating to have a sales person give you one piece of information, and an installer something totally opposite - but that wasn't the case here. Throughout the process, the… communication was great, the work was done conscientiously, and I'm very happy with the result. The price was reasonable, and Craig didn't try to oversell me something that I didn't actually need; his advice was invaluable. I'm very grateful for their help, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"Craig and Craig from Thermawood retro-fitted our 1940s timber windows for double glazing, and it’s completely got rid of any condensation and the rooms are much warmer. The window frames are now reshaped to close perfectly so there’s no drafts going in or out between the cracks. Highly recommend these guys. They work hard and do a very professional job, and are always happy to change anything as you get the windows installed. "

"We have just had new timber double glazing installed by Thermawood. Double glazing is a big investment so we contacted a few different companies and arranged a few quotes. Craig and Craig from Thermawood came to quote and informed us on the various options available to double glaze our windows – they have worked in this industry for some time and were knowledgeable on all the various systems and products so we decided to go with Thermawood . We live in an older building and our timber… windows did require a bit of work so decided to get new replacements rather than retrofit our current windows. Once we confirmed what type of double glazing we wanted the new windows were ordered and being installed within the month. The guys at Thermawood were hard working, trustworthy and cleaned up at the end of each day.

The new windows have made a huge difference sound proofing the busy road we live on (we hardly hear a thing now) and we no longer get loads of condensation on the windows which was one of the main reasons we wanted to install the double glazing. If you are looking to double glaze we recommend you contact Thermawood.
