"In second week of January we were finalising work on a rental with the tenant moving in that week. We needed gas activated but the stove wasn’t compliant and the plumber disconnected it. On tuesday I called Tim based on recommendation from a friend. Despite still being on holiday he turned up within 30 mins and we discussed options and settled on a solution - install stove and range hood, incl running a new circuit to the switchboard, new bathroom extractor, and fit some new power points. He promised an estimate - that evening he sent a quote and said he’d pencilled the job in for Thursday 9am.

At 9:04AM he was there, got straight into it and didn’t stop until the job was done, and a very neat job it was too. We’re happy, the tenant is happy.

"We needed new security lights replaced on the front of our house. Tim did a great job. I liked that he asked us to send him photos of the lights before he arrived so he could anticipate what might be needed. My partner who was home at the time said he was considerate and very helpful. He had to go away and source some new lights so discussed preferences with my partner then came back with attractive and effective lights perfect for the job. He arrived when he said he would and finished the job without any trouble.

"I couldn't have been happier with my experience of Tim. I'm 83yrs old and not in the best of health and needed overhead work done involving the use of ladders.
With our house on the market and prospective buyers wanting to come and inspect at short notice I had to defer Tim's arrival a couple of times. Two short drama free email exchanges saw him turn up almost to the minute of our final arrangement. My ratings below tell the rest of the story."

"I had a self-induced electrical problem on Monday, so looked online and found TT. I was out of town Tuesday so TT said he would come 8.30am Wednesday morning - he arrived 5 mins early (unheard of!!) and quickly identified and fixed the problem (ie with an hour or so). All very friendly, well-presented, chatty etc. Would use TT again with no hesitation - very reasonable invoice arrived promptly also - all good"

"Tim did a great job and was friendly and easy to deal with. Tim worked around my schedule to fit in the work. He explained really clearly what work was needed and why. I had a switchboard replaced, all of my light switches replaced, three pendant lights installed and a sensor light put in. All of the work was carried out to a really high standard. I would definitely use Tim again if I needed an electrician."

We needed an urgent fix
We contacted Tim, who was extremely helpful.
He came out the next day and replaced the blown fittings without any fuss.
Such a pleasant person with a great attitude and a ready smile
Tim was also able to recommend a long-term and cost-effective solution

The charge was very reasonable and fantastic value

"Tim is our electrician of choice as he is very reliable, clean, tidy, professional, and above all safety conscious which is essential when working in a preschool.

He is on a regular contract with us to replace old wiring and lights and is always courteous and in time - again very necessary in a Montessori preschool environment. He is one of BestStart's recommended tradespeople and I can see why."
