"Second time I have used Top 2 Bottom Carpentry Ltd, after initially neighbours recommended them. Prompt quote, advice and great job done in the time stated. Good communication. Always thoughtful and they went out of their way to do extra bits to assist me as in a storm a fallen tree had collapsed a fence. Job left tidy and the trees and old fencing removed.
Interesting to know about their other services like windows.
I would highly recommend them. Nice to have reliable, local business to call upon."

"Top 2 Bottom Carpentry was appointed to carry out the installation of flush-mount latches on our french doors. One of Graham's guys spent a full day on site. the work was initially carried out to a very poor standard and the workmanship could be described as 'handy-man' at best - the latches were not flush with the timber and the recesses carved into the wood were not straight and oversized. I complained to Graham who advised me that this was because the Rimu timbers were too hard for the router, and that they were thick with paint (not true). He agreed to undertake remedial work and the same guy came back the next week. After the second visit, the finish was an improvement - the latches were, for the most part, flush with the timbers and the gaps around the latches were filled with filler. Given the price, this was a disappointing experience, and in fact the first time that I have ever had to complain about a trades person."

"I had two projects completed while we were overseas.

1. Gib and new insulation replaced in kitchen, dining and hallway. New lights in hallway installed
2. Removal of existing wall in lounge, push back and create new recess creates. Gib replaced, power points installed.
Both full plastered, and ready to paint.

Graham offers full project management, and he’s awesome at it. With being overseas he kept me up to date via email, contacted the guy who was in there before him and kept in contact with our painter too.

He understood the project beforehand, took lots of notes, and his quote was very detailed. Before he started he came back and confirmed everything again.

Definitely made me relaxed and confident in his abilities.

Really happy with the final results, came back to a clean site which was also great.

Highly recommended and would use again.
