"After 7pm on a Saturday, we realised we needed an electrician to sort an urgent issue as our house had no power. John answered the call and proceeded to calmly and very professionally understand the situation and clearly stated how they can help and how soon. His manner itself gave me great condifence that we were dealing with the right people. "Anthony and Siva have been onsite at least 5 times over the past 3 years. They did the initial electrical fit-out for our print factory, and since then have come back for various requests like new fittings and problem solving with machines. They've always been very friendly, efficient, and completed the tasks to a very high standard. Their rates are very fair too. I'd highly recommend you contact John and the team at Wisdom - they're the first people I contact."

"Wisdom Electrical were absolutely amazing... I contacted them after coming highly recommended by a friend, at the end of November just on the off chance that they may be able to fit in some jobs for us to complete before Christmas - I didn't hold much hope, having had 3 other companies say they were unable to help us... but John was amazing - sent a team to look at our jobs that we needed to be done, then co-ordinated a few teams over the course of 2 weeks to come in and get our jobs done...… they were efficient, the communication was exceptional, the workmanship outstanding and they ALWAYS left our place so tidy, you wouldn't have even known that they had been. I would most highly recommend these guys!"

"Fabulous service, I can’t rate these guys high enough. Their workmanship is top in installing difficult chandeliers was amazing. They installed dimmer lights, Light switches, power points. "Kevin the technician has just made our year, he has sorted out our Ariel/Satellite dish issues including a full rewire, replaced the UHF and the LNB. He also changed the power point from a single to a double and placed Ariel cables into a wall socket making it a neat a professional finish.
Would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs Electrical or Ariel work to be done on time for a reasonable price AAAAA"

"I was little nervous as i had lot of electricians visited my home and said that fixing sandler on my slanting roof is quite tricky and complex. Most of them said and did not turn back. Atlast i had contacted Wisdomelectrical ltd and spkke to Joice John who comiited that his technician would come and fix it. As comited Siva and Tony were on time for the appointment, started to fix on Sandler and other things that i had pointed out. They also gave me valuable options of fixing LED tube lights.… Both of them are very professional easy to understand the requirement and quick to fix it. I thought they would take more as its hourly charge but they are well equiped and finish the job fast at the same time quality was commendable. Seriously they made my day happy. "Really appreciated thr Wisdom team in finding and organisinng an electrician to come through to our property on a Sunday morning. Called John at around 8:30/9am and he sent two electricians through before midday to fix our issue with a loose circuit, but then also found another loose circuit and tightened everything up as well! "Due to the seriousness of our issue - Vector for Safety Reasons, our power needed to be switched off - 10pm Wednesday evening,
I then had to look for an Electricain who could assist us down a right-away-driveway, which effected 4 property owners, to repair our service pillar, which was burnt on the side. So I Found Wisdom Electrical!!
Prompt service by this team. Called early, arrived 9AM, another team came to help. Very effecient, 1pm completed task, just had to locate afew more parts, I… then Called Vector, 330pm to turn power back on! Vector came and did certified checks power on 345pm.

Wisdom Electrical we thank You for your assistance.

Good electricians are hard to find without charging a arm and leg!! Great price and easy to liase with!

"Contacted company with lighting issue, Ann requested some information and advised that someone will be there within 2 hours. Just over an hour the electrician turned up, he was a very happy go lucky guy with a great attitude. Once I advised him of the problem he did some fault finding and solved the problem quickly, he was had a great attitude especially for a Friday pm. "I was happy 2 Electricians could come out on a Sunday (Father's Day) to my home and fix the power cut that happened at home while I was prepping lunch in the morning for Father's Day.
They had their masks, gloves on and kept their 2m distance from us while fixing the issue. They explained clearly what happened and what needed to be done, they also recommended that we change our whole switchboard because it's very old and we have had power cuts in the past so my family is now looking into… that. "I have been using John and his team approx 2 years now John is always 100% prompt and reliable with his responses. His two workers (sorry don't remember their names) but it's always the same two that have been on little jobs around the house since our first contact. They are efficient turn up on time, polite and always professional. They installed a new switchboard it looks amazing, works perfectly (2 years now no faults) and they always clean up after themselves. Recently they popped in to… install our new oven! "Obtained a quote to change garage light and install lights above my kitchen bench. Garage light installed fine. Basic job. Kitchen lights a whole other story. On quick inspection during the quote, the electrician (no name but has very strong accent) said he may need to lift some of my roof for access. Told him my roof was sheets. He visually looked at my roof and says its fine. Waited THREE hours after booked time for them to come and do the job. JJ communicated this with me but 3 hours is 2… 1/2 hours too long. When he finally arrived, it became obvious that either he didnt believe me or didnt listen as he thought my roof was tiles and sheets cant be removed. Not true! Too much for him and couldnt be bothered. He decided to have a proper look in my attic. After not listening to me re the roof, telling me to buy a certain type of light i didnt like and lying to me saying it wasnt him that quoted, I'd had enough of his BS and told him he wont be coming back. Later i discovered he has nicked two dents and ripped wallpaper in my hallway from the ladder. He never told me. AND made a hole in my ceiling and told me it was pencil! What a dishonest, unprofessional person he is. Now i have to have these repaired.

This is not a reflection on JJ. It is about this electrician who's name i dont know. JJ was apologetic about my experience, but no response about the damage. If you want an easy job with easy access done, then ok. Anything technical that requires the electrician to listen to the customer, then better not to hire. I sure never will again.

The quality of work rating is what it is as I'm happy with garage light."

"Apologies for all the confusion about this job . We were stuck up in a Job, couldn’t leave the job in between . No justification for the waste of time for the customer. We do completely understand from your side. Also apologies for the strong accent of the technician. In my perspective his command over his language is something which he keep on improving and we have passed this feedback to the technician. we have cancelled the invoice/ gave 100% discount for the new LED batten we installed . Thanks you for accepting this . "

John and his team have this month installed 2 new bathroom extractor fans, replaced a broken extractor fan, replaced a light switch and insinkerator at 3 different properties. Earlier in the year he repaired a hot water cylinder (after hours emergency) and rewired a whole factory for my business. Highly recommended and very pleased with his company's service."

"We called wisdom for a after-hours job when or power was fading in and out , they had the best after hour rates in Auckland and turned up quickly and efficiently solved the issue and communicated it back to us , the texts and calls the next day to check everything was ok certainly reinforced our decision to call them in even after we found it was a issue with the power company supply they gave us a discount on the charge which certainly helps in these days we will be usiong them again and… happily recommend them to all"

"Positve: Everything I asked to be repaired was done satisfactorily. Communication with JJ was very good, kept in contact and replies were timely. The lead electrician communicated well also and was thorough in his work
To work on: Guys were an hour late, given they called to say previous job was taking longer than expected, but an hour late was not the expectation; left some of their mess lying around after the job; forgot their ladder at my place - they picked up a few days later, but… communication of their intention to pick up was very sudden. I had to leave an appointment to come home to give them the ladder even though I said I'd be about an hour (I could've left them to wait, but decided against that)."

"We needed an electrician urgently as we woke up to no hot water Friday morning, and suspected it was the hot water cylinder. I did a google search and found Wisdom Ltd who i called and spoke with John. I found John polite, easy to communicate with and willing to take on the job immediately due to the urgency of the issue (young family with children)
John said they could be here within the hour and was punctual as promised. His team were able to find the issue and repair the hot water… cylinder element within a reasonable time frame, and the quality of workmanship was awesome.

From my initial inquiries to being invoiced and making payment, John was very accommodating, communicative, didn't over-promise and under-deliver - great service!!

I'm unsure what the ball park figures are for a hot water cylinder element replacement & the electrics for a new hot water cylinder install are, but i found their services value for money and would definitely consider John and his team, at Widsom Ltd, again in future.

"I had a second hand stairlift fitted into my house on Saturday 30/11/2019. After installation the installer told me that I would now need an electrician to connect everything and then we will be good to go. The electrician referred to us by the installer could only get to us on the following Thursday. This did not suite us as we had the stairlift installed for my mother who came to visit us. She was arriving at 12am Sunday Morning. I had to go to plan B and started looking for an electrician… to help. Please note, this was about 5pm on Saturday the 30/12/2019.

The gentleman at Wisdom Ltd answered his phone and told me that someone will be there in about 30 minutes. The electrician is an absolute "HERO" in our eyes. He managed to get the system working and even with some issues due to us not having all the installation instruction, work relentlessly until it was working. Great service and great price. I will recommend them to everyone."

At one place, hot water system was failed and another electrician had a look and couldn't fix it in a short period and asked us to change the whole system and asked to wait few days. "These guys were great! We had been told by another professional company that we needed a lot fo work done so got a second opinion. Thank goodness we did! These guys are true to there word and won't rip you off. A simple replacement of parts and adding something made the aerial work as good as new and cost half the price originally quoted!
