"Beware when dealing with this company. They ask for a deposit upfront & the workmanship is below acceptable.

The standard of work completed on our home was below any acceptable industry practice. The work looks untidy, incomplete and not in line with the “sample patch” completed before we engaged. We’ve given two opportunities to remediate, still they don’t see any issue with the work completed. It’s cost us more to fix & they refuse to return our money or remediate the damage cause to our home.

The paint and gib was damaged. They claim they Re plastered however you can’t plaster & paint in 2 hours like they claim. The plaster is still damaged & we now need to repair. Our window was smashed due to their machinery and our door frame dented and damaged. This is now letting in a draft & water & our door doesn’t lock. They arranged to straighten joinery and then replace the seal but now don’t want to know about it given it’s been deemed unrepairable by the joinery company.

We’ve engaged two independent companies who have advised this is one of the worst jobs they’ve ever seen and are horrified this type of work is being completed in the industry.

Be cautious when engaging & ask to see actual jobs completed by physically viewing past sites."

"We engaged Nick to grind down the concrete floor in our bathroom to reduce the step up that would have been created once we added underfloor heating, tiles etc. Nick responded quickly, gave us a reasonable price, turned up on time and did a great job. "I found Nick by posting my job on the Builderscrack website. I needed a solution to finish/ spruce up an old concrete floor, but I didn’t know what to do to tackle some dampness. Nick and Annette responded very quickly and gave me great advice. Nick ground the floor and sealed it with primer and two coats of concrete paint. I am so pleased with the job. "I found Zero9 on NoCowboys, and contacted them after reading the many other positive reviews. Our concrete blocks were looking salty, untidy and needed maintenance. I didn't know who to contact or what it was exactly that needed doing to get them up to scratch.
I called Annette, who was friendly and helpful, and arranged for Nick to pop out. I had confidence in Nick from his first visit. We have large block chimneys with internal and external facings. Nick explained to me the natural process of concrete ageing, maintenance options and checked the areas to give me his recommendations, answering my many questions. His years of experience were obvious and gave me the confidence that he was the right person for our job.
Annette helped make the preparation for the job easy, arranging for Nick to come out a couple of times to do test patches and look at a tricky part of the job, to make sure we had a clear expectation of the outcome that could be achieved and to ensure the job went smoothly. The care from both Nick and Annette at this stage was appreciated.
We had the job booked in advance but when we had to delay the start due to the scaffolding team being in isolation, it was no problem. Nick and his team made it work, pushed hard working on a hot Saturday to get the job finished in the shortest possible time frame to keep our scaffolding costs down.
Nick was a great person to have working at a family home. He was friendly, careful, considerate, polite, up for a laugh and played good vibes tunes.
The job was completed to a high standard and our blocks look mint!
The end result is better than I had imagined could be achieved before I met Nick, and saw what he could do. It has transformed our blocks - the place now looks finished.

"Nick and Annette Rangi of Zero9concrete was hired to hone and seal concrete block cladding. They could not do the job to a satisfactory level. Instead I had to hire another team to fix what they have done. The grinding was substandard. The waterproofing / priming was badly done. I will be recovering all remedial costs, plus delays and scaffolding costs from them. Feel free to contact Bowers who supplies these Masonary blocks to verify this. Bowers are aware of their workmanship, and they can pass on my details to verify.
They walked off the job when given the opportunity to rectify their work. Instead they are trying to invoice me for the substandard work."
