    "Booked an appointment, was confirmed by email and text. Then office rang to say they could not make the appointment, as technician off for the week. Told them I had no fridge and needed repaired. Said would keep me on the list and hopefully someone would turn up. Still waiting. Still waiting. Have since made a new appointment, but did not give me a time to select. Overall very poor service. Why are we supporting these people"

    "Such a massive disappointment. First booking was 8am - 12noon. Showed up at 12.20pm with no call to say delayed. Had to go on to another appointment. Second booking was confirmed 8am-10am. Phoned just before 10am, now scheduled for after noon. Apparently i should've received an email confirmation but no-one at any time asked me for an email address."

    "I contacted Fisher and Paykel Appliances Service and Repairs to repair my F & P fridge. I waited on the phone 20 minutes 2 days before Christmas. I explained the problem on the phone. They arranged a technician to come the next day between 12 and 5. He arrived at 4:53. He said it needed a new heater for the freezer. He didn't bring the part with him, so I had to wait a week. This was poor, as I had explained what the problem was on the phone, they could have brought it with them. Comes several days later, spends 10 minutes putting in new heater. Claims its fixed and promptly leaves. Put thermometer inside fridge to check, - min temp 12 degrees. Not acceptable - unsafe temp. 25 minutes on phone, finally get through make appointment. A week later he I missed his call (at lunchtime) saying he's in the area, he doesn't show up between 12 ~ 5. On the phone again, another 25 minute wait. They say he rang, the on-line "system" says he'll be here at 3~4. He doesn't turn up. Get a text saying *I have to make another appointment*, although he was the one who didn't make the time. Ring them, 25 minutes wait, say they will call me tomorrow. No call comes. Get a text - next appointment in a week. That's nearly 3 weeks to get a tech to fix a fridge.

    Finally tech comes a says there is a gas leak, fridge will not perform as required. Too costly to fix. Wish he'd done this check weeks ago when he had the fridge apart.

    Because of all this ****ing around, lack of basic customer care, appalling service I'm advising anybody not to get F & P appliances and forget about getting them serviced. Get an LG, Mitsubishi, Westinghouse, SMEG, Samsung. Anything that doesn't need these time-wasters.
