  "I had been learning from Paul for about 8 years and over that time I have learnt an incrediable amount. I learnt a range of different styles of drumming through to reading, playing with bands etc. He was a fantastic teacher and always made the lessons fun and enjoyable. He was very supportive of all my band work and always helped out when he could when I was stuck for ideas. I highly recommend him. Yea man...big thumbs up!"

  "When I decided to take up drumming Paul talked to my parents and helped organise practices. He is great. And my dad just rented a drum kit off of him so I can practice at home now.He also told me to practice at reasonable hours. That made Mum happy. He is the best!"

  "I have been learning with Paul for just over a year, in that time I have come a long way in both my drumming technique and in my ability to improvise along to pieces of music I enjoy. I started out using his Art of Drumming book which I found to be well written and to complement his style of teaching immensely. If I was to recommend a drum teacher to anyone I would not hesitate to recommend Paul, who I always found to be welcoming, excited about the lesson and always willing to explain things… as many times as it took to ensure I understood things completely. To come away from each lesson with a smile on your face, and having enjoyed yourself thoroughly not only helps the memory retention but also makes it a completely enjoyable experience to the point where you look forward to it every week."

  "The Guru of Groove is the best teacher I have had. He is fun and a great, happy and a very positive teacher to learn drums with. He is a very good master of Drums. He is very helpful, kind, and works long and hard hours at his teaching. I would highly recommended using The Guru of Groove as a drum teacher as I find him the very best in the business. I have also purchased the Guru of Groove\'s Drum Book called The Art of Drumming. I have had fast and rapid success learning to read and write drum… music theory. My drum kit is also hired from the Guru of Groove and I am very impressed with the quality of it. I also purchased my drum sticks from the Guru of Groove\'s drum stick designer range. He is the best!!!!!"

  "I have been a drum students of Pauls since the beggining of 1998 up till the end of 2006. During that time I acomplished a grade 8 from Trinity Collage London as well as a diploma from Trinity Collage. While studying with Paul I found him to be both professional and personal. There was never anything that I wanted to learn that he couldn\'t teach me. He is very skilled in all styles of drumming and can teach it to you no matter what learning type you are. You\'ll have no doubt when… learning with Paul that you are getting the best tuition avalible. I highly recommended him."

  "I have been astudent at the Guru of Groove for more than four years and i have been very impressedd at the standard and qaulity Paul provides. Paul offers a number of teaching styles ranging from freestyle to a structered exam system wehre you under take some of the many drum exams available.
  I would Highly reccommend Paul as a drumming teacher and think that he has given me a good grounding in drumming. "

  "The Guru of Groove was my Drum Teacher in 2005 and 2006. He is a great drum teacher and makes lessons fun and intresting. With his help I became the drummer for the Orewa College junoir band and played many concerts with the band. When I started the lessons I new nothing about drumming, but with the Guru\'s help and trianning I became very good, very quickly. If you want to be a great drummer and have fun go to The Guru of Groove!!!!!!!!!"
