    "This company is one of those companies you would dread to do business with again, they came in and replaced an item in the house and broke the tiles behind and planely refused to admit liability. DALE the supposed manager was an absolute disgrace to deal with, extremely arogant and full of himself. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING !!!!!!!! They will cost you more money in the long run fixing and repairing their bad workmanship"

    "The first time we used Heron Plumbing was in 2005 and the job was done perfectly. As we were first home buyers in West Auckland we wanted to give our business to a West Auckland Business. The first job done was cutting kitchen pipes as part of our kitchen renovation.
    When our new kitchen was installed we called Heron back to connect our dishwaher and kitchen sink. From this job on everything went wrong. A hole was cut in our new kitchen cabinets for the pipes going to the dishwasher, however they were cut in the wrong place, we had to fix this ourselves. But we still have a large hole cut by a Heron employee not thinking the job through correctly.

    A few months later we called Heron back to install a new hot water tank. This time, they left our cold water turned off going to the shower (sorry I'm not sure of the technical information) so we only got scalding hot water from our shower. We called them back, and they tried to charge us for the second visit when it was to fix their error!

    The last time we used Heron was to install a new toilet. We had to have someone visit three times before it was installed correctly and not leaking. And when the bill arrived they tried to charge us for the repair visits.

    Each time we have had to call Heron back to fix their own errors they have tried to charge us, and each time I have complained, and have never received an apology from them. I truly believe the lady that runs the office needs to attend a customer service course.

    We will NEVER use Heron again, and have also told all of our local friends and family so that they can also avoid Heron.

    "These guys are pretty useless. The foreman, Dale, in particular is completely unprofessional.

    Our hot water cylinder packed up so we called Rheem who sent these guys around. Our flatmate let them in, and they did some work on the cylinder. They got the name on the invoice wrong and the description didn't match the work performed. They also didn't sign the invoice.

    Two months later and the cylinder started leaking from a hole close to where the "work" was performed, completely flooding under the house. They initially said they had no record of the original job and are now blaming the leak on something else (an "old" cylinder that is 10 years old). The receptionist has been truthful and helpful, but there seems to be a cover-up by others. We will taking this further, and are unhappy about the way that they have dealt the whole issue.

    Won't be using them again. Avoid Dale!

    "Terrible service / shoddy administration. Look for someone else to do your plumbing....

    Initially contacted to correct a leaking cylinder pipe and fix an overflow problem.

    They sent one apprentice plumber over. Appeared to fix the leak and charged us for a new part to fix the overflow.

    The overflow continued and we received a refund (with hassle) for the part that was not actually needed.

    The leak reappeared at the new join.

    They sent another apprentice plumber over.
    Appeared to fix the leak.

    Charged again for the work. We disputed the charge as this was part of the original job.

    Sent another plumber over. This time repaired the leak.

    Continued to send invoices through for the disputed work.

    They finally agreed that the costs had been paid for
