    "The service here just gets worse and worse, who is in charge? Clearly the parent company is just profit focused rather than actually repairing vehicles correctly in a timely manner. Just look at their marketing!! all bells and whistles at the front and just rude ignorant staff eveyrwhere."

    "JAF …after so many phone calls and so many apologies you have taken no action to remedy your very poor service. I have waited several months and I feel very disappointed. You fitted all new tyres, and sent me home …you didn’t mention that you left all the wheel trims in the boot, AND the locking nuts for the wheels in the cup holder! It is not acceptable to send my car home with parts left inside the car! And yes, you agreed, but still you didn’t do anything to help me. I purchased my Mustang from you, and it has always been serviced by you but it wont be any more. Sorry JAF Grey Lynn I will never walk through your doors again."

    "It has been a very unpleasant experience dealing with John Andrew Fiord Grey Lynn. I had booked an appointment to go and buy a particular car. The salesman didn’t bother to tell me until I arrived that they had sold it a few days earlier. Then they tried to sell me something older and with higher mileage. I think this is called “bait and switch”. They misled me about finance and told me I had been approved when they hadn’t even put the application in properly. I have had a series of half truths and a run around from these people. Even when I confronted them about the “we don’t care less” service and lack of up frontness they still didn’t care. No wonder the industry has such a bad reputation. From reading about people’s bad experiences with John Andrew’s service department I am grateful that I am not doing business with this company."

    "I am self employed I bought my forth car from them a Ford territory (2006 model) in 2009 it was only 3 1/2 years old, just outside factory warrenty. 10 months later (Jan 2010) I took it for service and WOF it cost $2977 and a number of items required for WOF. After no absolutely sympathy from their customer service. I took them to Motor vehicle disputes which I found very confrontational and lost. Appealed in court and lost because you can only appeal on \"procedual unfairness\" cost another $3000.

    A cautionary tale. I will never recommend them and never return.

    "I took my 2005 Ford Territory to John Andrew Ford for a WOF. It is up to date with servicing. They failed it, and quoted $2,200 for the repairs. Was absolutely stunned - never imagined it would fail a WOF, and not knowing a lot about cars, thought I would go to VTNZ as they are independent & not looking to make money from repairs. Had a puncture repaired for $25, took it to VTNZ, & it flew through the warrant. Three peoplr at VTNZ examined the car & passed it - saving me $2,200!! Will never use John Andrew again. Told them I was unhappy - their customer service dept noted it, & have never heard anything further."

    "I find John Andrew Mazda very easy to deal with. Its a simple straight forward approach that leaves me informed with as much info as i need to know. Knowledgeable staff, who are friendly communicators.

    Pricing is neither here nor there – but on par with dealer servicing in Auckland. Its totally worth while having Mazda trained techs, look after your mazda – especially ones who won't take the **** replacing your lint filter and topping up the indicator fluid...
