    "They asked me to do a review and I said I would be happy to. I moved house and the old mechanic was too far so I became a customer here. Their communication is excellent and the quality of the job was very high. I guess the hourly rate is higher but everything was efficient and communicated to me. "

    "Terrible service, poor workmanship, poor communication. Happened in 2021.

    The worst experience I have had to pay for. Bought my bike in for a full service and to get an oil and break leak fixed. Was told their was a large amount of deferred maintenance and parts that needed replacing and the repair would cost around $1500. Fine. After a series of communication blunders they got me my bike only for it to **** it's entire fuel tank out at the gas station on my way home. I had to take it back again, for them to try charge me for something that was clearly their ****up. After I chased them on this they tried to 'only charge me for x part' as if they were doing me a favor and had not damaged my vehicle. When I pointed out to them that they were trying to charge me for a part that they had already claimed to have replaced and had already been billed and paid for, they sheepishly 'fixed' it free of charge. Andreas barely had the integrity to be embarrassed when confronted with this. By this point things were feeling like I was being scammed.

    After having the fuel line fixed (for real this time), the scooter would stall and die unexpectedly, often not turn on and just behaved like a completely different vehicle. I had to bring it back AGAIN to demand they fix whatever they did to butcher it and only when catching a mechanic before Andreas could stonewall me did I manage to explain the situation and have somebody treat me a shred of decency. 3 months later, having bought it in 3-4 times only to have it re done, $1400 later I have a scooter that still behaves poorly. The situation was so bad I decided to learn how it all worked and try fix it myself. Andreas and Ralph were cagey and unhelpful and I had to come in and confront them in person on their shop floor to get so much as an apology, let alone a modicum of accountability.

    The only reason I didn't escalate further was they had one mechanic who clearly felt terrible about how the business had operated on this that he went above and beyond to try make things right. And really, by this point I never wanted to deal with them again. It still took me going to another scooter shop to get my bike working properly.

    If this helps one person avoid my experience then it's worth it. Don't be like me, just pay a little more and get it done properly elsewhere.

    "Calling them scammers would be a privilege. Everything went wrong, from online booking to scooter conditions. I rented a scooter for a few days there and I literally lost 500$ and couldn’t even get to use it.
    I did not even receive a confirmation email as per website instructions.
    Arrived at shop in the morning to pick up the scooter, the guy at the counter didn’t even know about my reservation. After 10 minutes waiting, I’ve been told that the scooter I selected was not available. What they handled me was an old rusty 50cc scooter full of flaws, white smoke, and it didn’t even start in the morning. Moreover, the steer lock was broken, and when I tried to lock it, something inside must have snapped (after just 1 day of use), and I had to handle back the scooter and they said they had to take my bond back WITHOUT even checking for what was the problem!! Cherry on top, they said they would call me back to arrange a solution, guess what? Never heard back from them. Long story short, 500$ just vanished from my bank account for nothing. I will report these fraud to some consumer association because they don’t have a clue of what’s their professions and about customer service. Stay cool

    "Don't buy from Andreas. His vehicles are shoddy and he and Ralf try their best to blame the customer for faults in their scooters.

    "Yikes! My scooter broke down 8 days after an expensive service but I'm not taking it back to Scootling!

    They replaced parts that didn't need replacing (there wouldn't be anything wrong with the drive belt after 4000ks). The advertised $169 for a full service is misleading, that didn't include any standard parts (like oil) or any of the jobs they invented to keep themselves busy, inflating the cost to over $300. This "full service" didn't even include a carburetor clean, which they were going to charge another hundred or so for."

    "Gave for general second service where as my moped never missed a beat.

    Folks called me mid of the day and said has couple of punctures needs tyres replaced. I said will replace next time, he replied now it leaks can’t take the bike without fixing them. I was arguing I am riding bike everyday regularly, asked how started leaking now when I gave to you for service he started blabbering and argued needs fix. He charged extra $36 for fixing puncture in reality for nothing.

    It’s up to you guys now

    If you want to replace your new tyres for no reasons I would recommend scootling

    As I mentioned they are LOOTLING not scootling

    "Without a doubt the worst experience as a customer I've ever had. Over priced, they botched the job the first time ceasing my engine, refused to take the blame, charged me for parts they broke, refused to replace other parts they broke. Job all up took about a year with back and forth and having to take it back when their work failed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS."

    "I found scootling difficult to deal with. Having bought my scooter in to have a starter problem diagnosed they quoted me $700 to repair, when I said that is absurd as it isn't worth that much and asked for it back - they said I had to pay $350 for the diagnosis, absolutely insane as this is not what I had asked for. Scooter was also scratched upon return. I ended up finding another mechanic down the road who did the job for a few hundred. These guys are your classic rip off mechanics, talking up the cost of repair to customers who dont know better - when they know its not actually that hard. Would definitely not recommend, keep searching and you'll find much better, friendly, cheaper options."

    "A friend told me about Scootling cos he went on a ride they organised a while ago and I was having some car issues at the time. I ended up buying an Adly (gatecrasher) from them a couple of months ago, fun! I dealt mainly with Andreas who was very patient with me and seemed to really know his stuff, but the other guy (sorry didn\'t catch his name!) was just as helpful. I thought I\'d write a review as its hard to know sometimes who to trust when making a big(ish) purchase but I found this company to be a really good egg in the basket!...wish theyd organise another ride soon though so i can join in:)"

    "I am new to riding a scooter and after shopping around the different stores in Auckland I found the service and expertise at Scootling by far the best in town! They were really approachable and open, and talked me through everything throughly. I LOVE my new scooter - I have saved so much money already! I would definately recommend Scootling to anyone new to scooter riding, I wouldn\'t go anywhere else now :) "

    "Would not recommend Scootling to anyone. Horrible communication between the mechanics. I got quoted for the oil leak with my scooter, received a call later that night saying I own them a lot more money because they replaced things that didn't need replacing, without asking me at all. Not only is this bad service but it is illegal.
    Also my scooter had a punctured tire when I got it back from them, which it didn't have when I left it with them.. Horrible service, horrible communication.
