    "I had just purchased a vehicle in Auckland (having traveled some distance) and started having mechanical issues the next day.
    I called these guys to have a look at the situation.

    I have never come across such obliging mechanics. Nothing was too much of a big deal. After a check the problem was thought to be fairly serious but then after further inspection they called to advise it was only very minor.

    What mechanic is that honest? I didn't think this happened in our day and age. Honesty and transparency are still qualities that exist.

    Could not have been happier in my dealings with Pitstop - Newmarket.

    "I was surprised when I saw the rating on here and then found out that the business is under new ownership. Richard and the team do a fantastic job from booking me in at short notice, upfront and value for money pricing, vacuuming out my car, waiting for me even though I was held up and they had closed and giving me a realistic and comprehensive update of what to expect for the next year. I have nothing but good things to say about this business and recommend it to everyone I know."

    "I had severe issues with the service. Not on time, over budget slightly. When I raised these the guy told me that's what happens. He was rude and terrible to deal with, I had to ring three times to chase them up. I will not be going back"

    "Took it for rear break imblance when it failed wof, also asked for wheel alignment.

    Didnt tell me that they cant do wheel alignment and took to somewhere else charged me $75, on asking on picking was told that it was normal and i gt cheap price as they are trade

    the place they took it to charge $69 to customers (i phoned and checked)

    Charged me $144 to clean brakes thus fixing the break imbalance, on asking that was steep was told they use lubrication.

    Also took it to vtnz to for recheck, without telling me before hand.

    Plus side all very quick

    But charge you for very little

    Wont be going back

    "An extremely professional and great team that worked on both myself and my girlfriends car.
    Went above the call of duty in all areas and even vacuumed the cars for us.
    Price was 25% lower than 3 other quotes and offered us a same day turnaround compared to 2-3days elsewhere.

    We will be back using Pit Stop Newmarket whenever we can in the future.

    "I booked my car in for rocker cover gaskets to be replaced. dropped off at time requested and job was finished before the time they had indicated so they adjusted the price to suit they even cleaned the oil off the exhaust without extra cost which was excellent!!!! because of that i have dedicated all 3 of my cars to them, i am very pleased to have found people i can trust my cars with. Thank you again. "

    "Well I booked my car in, turned up on a saturday, and they didn\'t open. When I rang on the Monday, the manager, wiremu advised me he \"had a day off\" and couldn\'t have cared less. So while my rating may apprear overally harsh, they are 100% accurate as far as this situation go\'s. Not to fear, I will not use Pitstop again, ever"

    "A quote was provided to replace oil and filter, and a fanbelt. When I went to collect the car, the price had gone up $80.00? The manager tried to justify it saying it was consumables!!! After having a brief exchange of words, I paid the full amount, but stated I was unhappy. I drove no more than 2km back to my office, and when I stopped the car, noticed water pouring out the bottom. They had forgotten to tighten the radiator cap!!! They also claimed the sump plug was stripped and oil was all over the bottom of the car. I bought the car based on the fact that it was not leaking oil, water etc. I park it in a garage and there is not a drop of oil on the floor. So, theres another $32 for a sump plug! What a rip off!!! Ill never go back there again!"
