"We couldn't be happier with the 25 windows we have just been supplied by warm Windows. We are English and have always known the benefits of UPVC so to exchange our old brown single aluminum windows for Warm, Quiet white double-glazed ones is a total joy. We were especially impressed with the customer service provided to us. A barrel lock was miss-fitted and had to be replaced, which was done without fuss or argument, and we were also missing some plastic hinge covers which were equally sent… without any fuss and bother. The excellent customer service is what makes an excellent product, second to none. Thanks guys."

"We kicked off a full replacement of all the windows of our 1960's house in Auckland with Warm Windows a year ago. We did a mix of full frame replacements for rotting joinery, and inserts. The huge windows on the front our house are what makes it unique and we were pretty anxious about how it might look. The result is far better than we expected.
Warm Windows delivered on every front with Alex and Jr being standout. Our UPVC joinery is amazing, tilting every window during summer cools the… place down down and turning is epic for cleaning those tricky windows and dumping out hot air.

The installers took huge care and worked with us, going above and beyond to ensure the job was well done.

Post install there were a number of things to work through, as you'd expect with a job of this scale. We felt supported and Warm Windows genuinely cared about getting everything right, taking pride in the final product.

We've had a year with the windows, during winter we barely need to heat the place and during summer, the rooms that would absolutely cook are cool, minimising our use of aircon. Fly screens were a great addition for keeping bugs out. Not to mention how quiet the place is now.

It was a big job, and we didn't have a clue what we were doing. Thanks for guiding us through it. Can't recommend more."

"We'd just finished replacing 15pieces of Joinery + one trim change for our whole house with WarmWindows. it's so quiet now I can hardly hear the kids with Sirens on the street.
Happy to say that we are super satisfied with the whole experience, from the communication through to the visit at the showroom, quality of the product and the installation process.
On WarmWindows:
We looked at a few uPVC companies for quotes and decided to go with WarmWindows largely based on the great reviews… i've seen online. They are a manufacture in Auckland and have been around for a while.

I must say that Igor (and Junior) were very helpful and patient in taking us through the entire process from the initial phone call to the showroom visit and then taking us through the measuring and ordering process. They were very patient with my questions and took time to help me understand the process.

On the Installers:

James and Junior were exceptional at what they do-

(We have a 70yr old weatherboard house with rotten wooden windows and walls/floors that are not perfectly plumb or level- but it didn't seem to faze them)

They were tidy, respectful of our household, on-time and an absolute pleasure to work with on-site as they made sure that we felt that we were in safe, tidy and experienced hands. It was very reassuring to see how much they took pride in their work and I can't thank them enough. I'd highly recommend requesting to book for James and Junior as your installers.

If you're considering replacing your windows with uPVC, i would highly recommend them and suggest to check out the WarmWindows showroom."

"Warm Windows replaced all our old wooden joinery in our home in Auckland, their product is fantastic and the installation crew did an amazing job. I spent quite a bit of time looking at alternatives, both Aluminium and other PVC providers. We have heard horror stories of poor installation of windows so took our time to look at options. Our friends had used WW and recommended them. Went with PVC as they are thermally insulated unlike aluminium (they don't conduct heat or cold). Very glad I… went with WW and their PVC product. We chose the laminated windows (this reduces UV light by 98%) and argon gas filled. The windows have made a huge difference to our house, no more condensation in winter mornings, our house is now much quieter and warmer. Loving the digital lock on the front door and double stays on the windows (means you can lock them with a slight opening, great for summer). Highly recommended."

"I thoroughly recommend this business. I can happily confirm all the 100% ratings for WW on this site. This is the 4th lot of windows I've ordered from them as I get more as we can afford them. I will order some more windows in future.
They work like their lives depended on it. The work is always finished off well. They are easy to work with and have always been cheerful. They are so polite it is unusual.
They didn't just leave the job clean they kept it clean as they went and looked after my… house as they worked.

The other thing is everyone, everyone, who comes to our house comments how lovely the windows are. We have the tilt and turn windows with insect screens on the outside. We have had a problem of NZ cockroaches coming in from outside. Since installing the windows with insect screens we have had no more cockroaches.

Junior kept us informed of progress on our order and Igor was very patient with me making changes to our specifications.

"The entire experience has been excellent. The showroom gave us the ability to try the products and evaluate the pros and cons of each option. Lina took the time to explain all the options and give valuable advice for consideration. The entire office team was very responsive to any request we had. The installers, James and Junior, paid attention to every detail and delivered a top job. They overcame all obstacles, 3 rotten wooden frames, which they rebuilt with finesse before installing the new… windows. Nothing was too much for these guys. Overall a great experience and we are absolutely delighted with the result. You immediately experience the impact in heat retention and the noise reduction is incredible. Worth every dollar."

We had a bad experience with another uPVC business (Homerit) during the 1st phase of our project which was better pricewise but spending a bit more with proper uPVC windows manufacturer was well worth it."

"Warm Windows are one of the most professional outfits I have ever dealt with. The whole team are 110% professional in every way. Nothing is to much for these guys.
Re the product they make and sell. Sitting 600mm away from a window here in the Waikato 6c outside, no curtains and not a single bit of heat loss. My son was mowing the lawns outside the other week
and I could just hear the lawnmower. Near soundproof.
Kiwis need to wake up and get Upvc windows. I've had aluminum double glazed… windows. What a joke. Condensation on frames.

I want to make a special mention of Mike the Installer – he did an amazing job under extremely hot conditions. He was pleasant and polite even though our building was old, out of plumb and challenging. Please pass on my huge thankyou to Mike – he’s worth his weight in gold.
Also your preservice and follow up service was outstanding. You’ve… been thorough and consistent throughout the entire process. Your communication and been excellent and I now have an incredible set of double glazed Kitchen Windows that has significantly improved the value of my property and my enjoyment living here. I now have wonderful airflow in the summer and warmth and no condensation in the winter. They have also significantly reduced the sound transfer to other properties. Thankyou!

Finally I would like to comment on your follow-up care. The real quality of a company is measured not only when things go right, but more importantly when there may be issues. There was a small issue after the initial installation where a window cracked on the corner (most probably due to my building being slightly out of plumb!). The very next day you sent a Quality Technician to my property who reassured me that the issue would be resolved within a week and explained what had happened. True to his word the entire double glazed window pane was completely replaced at no further charge. For the record this was a very large pane of glass and would not have been cheap to replace.

As a result of this fabulous service and incredible product, the other property owners of my apartment complex have decided to replace all further windows using the Warm Windows product. FYI there are a large number of windows that need to be replace across 2 other properties. I have passed on your details with an excellent reference."

"They delayed the installation by 1 month because they are a busy business.
We researched one other competing company and decided to go with Warm Windows based on recommendations and feedback rating, although it was a few thousand dollars more expensive. We don't know how the other company works since it doesn't have many reviews online.
The job was 11 windows and 1 door, which was completed in 3 days. They worked professionally and we are satisfied with our new windows. We know PVC windows… because we come from Europe, where PVC windows is the norm."

"A fantastic experience working with Warm Windows. We have done many renovations over the years but these guys were the best. The installer James and his team were absolutely outstanding. We have a 1960's house with many 'twists and turns' in the wood yet this team worked with continual excellence to get every window perfectly fitted - absolutely square and level. It was like watching artists at there passion. They were very tidy - always cleaning and vacuuming as they went. Always unobtrusive… and polite in our home. The product itself is fantastic - I am now looking forward to winter for there first time! Would highly recommend them."

"Quotes were provided in a timely manner and the job underway when they said it would be done.
There were a few problems with the structure of my house and they carried on with other work while I got it fixed.
The workers were very respectful and polite especially to my elderly mother who was living in one of the houses they were doing."

"I would especially like to mention the professionalism and attention to detail that your installer James offered during the installation. I was at home for the two days while the windows were installed, and observed how he and his team worked.
The windows were precisely leveled and adjusted, and at all times the team removed their shoes and tidied up as they went.

"This is the 4th time we have used Warm Windows and each time we have been very happy with their work and the quality of the windows. The staff are very obliging and professional and there was no mess to clear when the men finished the work.
We chose to have inserts on the sitting room windows instead of complete new frames as the windows were so large. Warm windows said that the inserts would look fine and true to their word the windows look fantastic and we are really happy with them… .

From start to finish we were kept informed of time scale and dates and from placing the order to completion was less than a month.

I found them a great company friendly and reliable and will use again."

"Warm Windows NZ was Marvellous to work with! They recently retrofitted all our existing 1960s timber window frames with double glazed, argon gas, low E glass new windows at affordable price. The customer service was excellent. All tradesmen on site were very polite. There were no sub-contractors involved.....from start to finish. Our home is now less draughty, warmer and can be well ventilated. They also installed a sliding door.....and this is low maintenance too....reducing any noise between… both rooms, but letting in natural light. I tried other companies for quotes and they ran a mile stating my home was too old or too complex for them......Warm windows never faltered...they made me feel adequate and competent as a home owner. No issue was made of my 1960s unit home. They made a silk purse out of a sows ear! Working with existing frames that are all unusual measurements......no two windows are the same.....yet from the street Warm windows installation has made the home look more balanced. I highly recommend this company.......its the best investment I have ever made for my families health and also has easily added instant $$$$$ value to my property."

"What can I say, Warm Windows is one of the best companies I've ever dealt with - they did a superb job from start to finish. The old aluminium windows in my 1970s house had been leaking in the corners (rotting the timber wall framing in one room, as we later found when the old window was removed), and condensation had rotted the wooden sills. I'd previously come across high-quality uPVC windows when I was living in Europe, and was pleased to find they were available in NZ. I contacted Oleg, who… was friendly and professional, and provided a very prompt and competitive quote to replace most of the windows in my house (and a complementary ticket to the Home Show). At the factory, Gilles showed me around and answered my questions, then stayed in touch during every step of the process to keep me updated on installation dates. Galina patiently dealt with my last-minute changes. Installation went ahead two weeks ahead of schedule. James and all the installation guys did an absolutely fantastic job - they were friendly, very professional, and extremely efficient (the installation only took a few days). Several unforeseen difficulties arose due to the vagaries of my house, but were handled by these guys without fuss. The final pleasant surprise was that the team spent a lot of time cleaning up after the job was finished, leaving the house spotless and also taking away all the old windows. I'm extremely pleased with the end result. The windows are excellent quality, have made a big improvement to the appearance of the house - and, of course, the house is warmer, quieter, and has zero condensation. "Nothing but praise for Warm Windows and their team from me. Firstly I thought it would be difficult getting uPVC windows fitted up here in Whangarei, but Warm Windows didn't make any fuss about it being out of their usual business area. Everyone I spoke to initially was very helpful and when they came round to meaure my windows, actually suggested some ideas for windows that we hadn't thought of, and eventually worked out very well, better than the ones we originally had in mind. Also (and a… BIG also), there was no usual tradie nonsense about giving you a silly idea of how quick they'll be round to sort the job and then no sign of them for weeks. I was given a realistic time frame for how long it would take to get the windows measured, made and then fitted. And they stuck to it. Some of the advice I was given by them saved us money too - they absolutely had no intention of doing work that really wasn't required, and they advised me not to have eg new flashings as the old ones were perfectly serviceable. I'm sure we've all had builders etc tell us stuff that needs doing that actually didn't. None of that from Warm windows. From what they saved us by changing our plan we were able to have an extra window fitted that originally we weren't going to have. I always felt I could trust these people.

Something I have to mention is that the guys that fitted the windows tidied up after themselves on both days. Having built a house 3 years ago, I can attest to how unusual that is. Our building site was more often than not a bombsite with the same builders who just left a mess where they stood, complaining about the mess. I was very impressed with the fitters - they worked hard, did a very neat job and tidied up (it's not pretty when you have to cut through concrete block/plaster).

As for the windows themselves, they're superb. We got 3 bifold windows that all run like they're weightless, and all the other windows/doors do the job very well. We grew up in Europe with uPVC double glazing as standard so we know how good they are, but when we built our last house we used local double glazed aluminium frames for various reasons. And they were rubbish. The windows worked OK, cut down noise and stopped condensation but the metal frames condensed horribly. We ended up with mould after every winter because of the damp base under the frames. And we had 2 doors that continually warped in summer and stuffed up the locks. uPVC just doesn't do any of that. After that I really wouldn't touch metal frames with a bargepole. Hence why we chose Warm Windows and the uPVC ones. We looked at thermally broken metal frames, but they seemed more expensive than uPVC standard and I just can't see how any frame of metal can compete with uPVC. Ours is an old 70s faux-Spanish villa kind of house and they don't look out of place at all. I can imagine white uPVC frames would really suit old villas. You do get bigger frames with plastic, but what you lose in window size (only a little anyway) you more than gain from performance. I had to go round all the windows on one side of the house with a squeegee to mop up the condensation every morning this winter, and now I don't. The house is warmer (not that that was the reason up here in Northland to get double glazing), but they are heaps drier, hence healthier. No more mould. You just shouldn't have to live with mould inside your house because of rubbish windows.

If we ever replace the windows doors on the other side of the house I would not hesitate to use Warm Windows again. I'll recommend them to anyone and everyone. TBH I'm not sure if I could have got anything that much cheaper locally, and if I did they would have been inferior metal frames and far worse value. Warm Windows were always honest with me, didn't muck us around and kept any promises they made. It was NoMoreCowboys that swayed us in the end - WarmWindows website suggests you visit here to check the reviews, so they obviously take customer satisfaction and honesty seriously. I've used companies that don't much like this kind of website, so in my mind that speaks volumes. I think it took around 4 weeks all up to get the windows in, but they told me that at the start. No silly promises, the quote was exactly what we ended up paying (try getting many other building companies to charge you exactly what they quote beforehand!) with no buggering around whatsoever. A neat job, and a good product that stops noise, stops condensation and hardware that glides smoothly. If only we'd known about Warm Windows when we built our previous house (although different region).

"Hi. I had a set of french doors made for my recording studio in Auckland. Oleg was great to deal with and talked me through all sorts of options, so we decided on triple glazed with laminated sound stop glass.
The doors are certainly an impressive looking entrance, and they perform sooooooo much better at keeping sound out, than many of the top studios in town, that I have worked out of my whole life.

The two installers did a fantastic job and there was no damage or re decorating needed.
From start to finish the service was superb and there was no waiting for the job to be done .

"I am rating these products after 1 year of use and a hard winter of storms. The windows have performed fantastically with zero problems and really meeting expectations of warmth, little/no noise and functionally still as good as day one.
From the first contact with Oleg and meeting him at their East Tamaki offices where he took the time to walk us through all there product range and options, through to a number of design changes and quotes, Oleg was a pleasure to deal with, professional,… gracious and no fuss, even after having to deal with our fussy council planner!

"When I decided to get my wooden windows & French door replaced with double-glazed ones I got a quote for aluminium. Then I got quotes for uPVC windows and it was only 5% more so I decided to get the best product available for my money! I chose Warm Windows because of the nice people I spoke to and how good they were in communicating with me. I was amazed how quickly everything got done -- they measured up on a Thursday morning and the next Thursday they put in 6 windows and 2 French doors!… Amazing!!! The installers worked very quickly and professionally. I have been telling everyone I know about the fabulous new windows I have and showing them off to all my visitors. I used to have moisture on the East facing windows every morning but not any more! The house is warm and quiet now plus the windows look great and give me lots of security. My neighbour came over to see what had been done and she commented that I have increased the value of my house immensely. I think this is the best investment I have made to my home so far. I will certainly use Warm Windows to replace the old aluminium windows in my unit once I renovate that space. Thanks so much for a wonderful product and great service!"

Right from the get go, we were impressed. As a new mother I needed both warmth and practicality but didn't really know what to ask for. The Warm Windows team not only answered my questions but made suggestions to improve my window selections. The end result - a great balance of looks and safety for my little one.
The windows themselves are impressively high quality and have really changed the light and… temperature in the house. The locks and doors already make me feel safer too!

"There should be more older houses retrofitted with uPVC as it is fantastic. The improvements we have noticed are look, reduced outside noise and far better security than our old wooden frames, not to mention warmth! There were some problems but they were addressed and we felt Oleg was in particular,an excellent ambassador for his company and the product.

"Initially, we were very disappointed in the overall service that Warm Windows gave us (poor communication and rough workmanship - flashings, poorly attached hook systems, different hinging system, etc).
However since further contact with Oleg, Warm Windows have gone out of their way to rectify the issues that we had. They have also apologised for the experience and we are now in discussion with them regarding the second phase of our joinery downstairs. We are very happy with the first job now,… but would recommend to others that you make it very clear what you are after and ensure that you let Oleg know if you have any issues (we were communicating with the head installer at the time rather than Oleg)."

"I cannot speak more highly about this company. It is rare to find a company whose employees all appear to share the same commitment to doing an excellent job and providing a quality product. It is also rare, in our experience, to have a company arrive on time, provide what was quoted and complete an excellent job. To top it all off they leave a spotless site. Awesome!
We are building a new home and wanted to use UPVC windows and doors because they are durable, great looking and much… more energy efficient than the conventional aluminum. There are a number of UPVC window companies and we contacted them all. However we chose Warm Windows because they were by far the most prompt with quotations, information and help. When I couldn’t afford exactly what I wanted they helped me work out a perfect compromise so I could keep my wonderful bifold doors. It is now a year since our windows and doors were installed and I couldn’t have asked for better choice. I would definitely use Warm Windows again in another home,

We were experiencing high noise levels (street noise, cars etc) in our bedrooms which was waking our baby constantly- the reduction in noise since the new windows have been fitted is AMAZING. "Excellent products, excellent workers. Oleg and team were fantastic to deal with. We have done up many old houses and used lots of different joinery companies, the warm windows team were by far the most professional. The windows and doors we replaced were great value too, the price that was quoted included everything inlcuding installation and removal of old joinery. Very happy with the result. We would be happy to recommend warm windows. "

"I found the guys at Warm Windows extremely helpful, and accommodating during my dealings with them. My main contact was Oleg who went out of his way to assist and accommodate my requests.
The windows are of a very high quality and I can easily recommend to all.
Finally the team of guys who installed windows should be commended for their workmanship, I simply could not fault their job - and not only that but the cleanup was extensive, to the point where I couldn\'t tell that they had been… there. Nothing out of place and no mess left behind.

If you have any doubts then please believe me that Warm Windows are a good company to deal with. I can only hope that you have a similar experience to myself if you use them.

"Communication from Oleg was excellent and being in a service role myself this was great to see and recieve.
The install crew were efficient and friendly, minimum disruption, just got on with their job.
We installed these windows due to noise (busy road) and have to say that the difference has been all that we wanted. The noise has been reduced to an acceptable and no-nuisence level allowing us to sleep in and rest at peak traffic times.

"Its rare that one finds a company where once the job is complete there is nothing negative to say but this is one of them.
Superb communication - followed up on a an email enquiry very quickly, came to do a no-obligation quote when it was convenient for us, re-quoted quickly when we changed our minds about a couple of things, kept in touch regularly with regard to expected installation, worked around some renovations we are having done. We were also invited to visit the factory on several… occasions, however, we simply didn\'t have time but its good to see a company keen to show you the manufacturing process.

When the windows were actually being replaced the guys doing the job were friendly, tidy, efficient and worked very quickly fitting 10 new windows (including a large fixed pane one) in a day & a half.

Good value, we\'re happy with the look & function of the windows. We\'ve already noticed that our home is quieter and come winter we\'re confident we\'ll notice a drop in our heating bill and an absence of condensation.

We will definitely be calling Warm Windows in the future to replace our remaining windows and doors."

"Dear Oleg.
Having had your windows for a while now, including through the winter, I thought it was time to send you some feedback on our experience of the fitting process and the windows themselves.
I have to say that the fitting was extremely fast and efficient, and could not have gone more smoothly. Once the crew had gone there was no cleanup job required, and the finish around the windows was very good - It looked as though they had always been there.
On the quality of them, I can… say that I am very pleased. They are exactly as described in the catalogue, and the dual-opening ability of them is extremely convenient. Also, the fact that you were able to make insect screens for all of them was greatly appreciated. The house as a whole is noticeably warmer this winter as compared to last, we have used the fire less often, and the bedroom has also been much warmer. There is no condensation in the bedroom, and considerably less around the kitchen when cooking (compared to how it used to be).

I consider the windows to have been well worth it for the winter alone. Add to this the much greater comfort we will have in the summer in being able to have all the windows open in the evening without getting mosquitoes in the house and I feel that the installation was very worthwhile.

"If you need a window replaced - then I recommend using Warm Windows. In particular, if you\'re looking for a place that can upgrade old wooden windows with something modern that suits older villas/bungalos then this is the place for you.
I absolutely recommend Warm Windows. Professional, easy to deal with, and value for money. I\'m already saving for the next job...

"I can\'t say enough good things about this company. They are AWESOME.
Other window companies we contacted (thermal frame and euro windows)wouldn\'t even know that the words \'customer service\' meant, took months to get back to us and even when they did were really unhelpful - but these guys are the very definition of it.
Communication was brillliant from the outset. Arrived to measure up (twice to make sure it was right) exactly when they said they would, did a thorough job and discussed… what they thought would be the best solution to our rather challenging home.

FYI - we own a 70\'s property lots of very large panes of glass at odd angles.

When they turned up for the installation they were lovely to deal with, extremely hard working and very flexible around our family life!

When (1/2 way through the installation) the work had to stop due to previously unknown dry rot issues in the frame - they worked around our builders availability and really pulled out all the stops to make sure we were not left with tarpaulins for walls for too long!

I know I\'m ranting but honestly these guys deserve every piece of praise I can heap on them and more."

"The windows arrived on time exactly as ordered. Our builder has found the company easy to communicate with and is impressed with the quality, security and appearance of the product. All the staff at Warm Windows were patient and helpful and very knowledgeable about their product. Our house looks much better with the new windows and is much warmer and quieter."
