    "I agree that with previous commenters that the pricing is unreasonable. I was charged $138.01 on 26/10/17 to replace a washer on a hose tap. Incredibly unpleasant customer service to boot, including being threatened and sworn at (no joke). AVOID!!!"

    "I have used Watkins in the past and just had a job completed on Wednesday to replace my hot water cylinder. However one of their plumbers (Brendon) I would never use again. He arrived half an hour late on Wednesday (with the other plumber) even although it was the first job of the day. He was very unprofessional and disrespectful. He was rude, abusive, threatened to walk off the job (three times) today, called me a scammer, told me to stop giving him sh*t, told the other plumber three times to "stop working, we're leaving." Used f*cking in each of the last two sentences I heard him speak inside the house. In addition he did not correctly identify the fault last Friday until I asked him to make sure it was not the cylinder (it appeared to be a leaky tap under the cylinder but was actually the cylinder itself that was leaking). He brought the wrong filter replacement for the water filter. It was nothing like the picture I had emailed to Watkins.

    On Wednesday, the smoke alarm was set off twice, the inside of the hot water cupboard was scorched in four places, and Brendon failed to return my gas lighter. Extra parts were put into my toilet cistern by Brendon without telling me and getting my authorisation.

    The manager (Dean, a Director) has always been helpful. When I found a cheaper quote, he offered to not charge me for Friday's call (to make his quote more competitive).

    I dropped down to Watkins Plumbing (unarranged) to talk to Dean face to face early Thursday morning. Unfortunately Dean was not there and was not expected back for half an hour. He returned my call about three hours later. I appreciate him offering to come around to see me and check the job (which he did).

    Dean replaced my gas lighter with a new one. Dean also sandpapered off the scorch marks and made suggestions on my storm water issue.

    Dean told me today (Tuesday) that Watkins had lost money on the job because of the amount of time taken by his plumbers. Despite Brendon being on site on Friday, on Wednesday both the plumbers left twice (individually) to get extra parts.

    Dean also told me today Watkins would not do any further work for me if I put in a bad review on NoCowboys.

    "100% recommend these guys.

    After all the heavy rain of recent days we had a major roof leak situation on our hands. These guys were amazing. The office staff (who I learned are the owners - means a lot these days because it is obvious they care about their reputation and their customers experience from first point of call to end of job) were extremely efficient. Their guys arrived in the timeframe I was told. They assessed the situation - went away and collected materials etc they required - returned to the job and fixed my problem. Very pleasant and extremely professional tradesmen.

    I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company. A very efficient and professional company who I believe have been servicing our community for many years.

    So refreshing to deal with such a great company.

    "Watkins Plumbing were a little late, however I was phoned to say that they were just completing a job not far away and would be arriving shortly. He arrived and completed the job. I expected the bill to be about $150 as I was told it would be about $60 for valve. The $198 bill arrived including $30 admin/vehicle charge! Definitely a shock. Would not use them again and will look around more in the future. Completely regret just using the first plumber\'s ad that stood out in the local paper."

    "I needed a registered plumber to give a verbal diagnosis on my property, as I was selling to a potential buyer.

    Watkins advised their minimum charge is 1 hour = $118.

    Although we only needed a plumber for less then 30 minutes. We agreed. Then I got the bill for 1.5 hours, because they charged traffic time too. That was not communicated on numerous phone conversations.

    Therefore I called again. Brett gladly repriced to 1 hour. I personally feel we should not be constantly fighting for what\'s right. In this case, Brett was easy to deal with. However it would be better if I don\'t get a 1.5 hour charge in the first place."

    "Further to my earlier post, I wish to advise that finally a site meeting has occured and a satisfactory response to damage and sloppy work agreed on.
    Weather needs to improve so that someone can stand on the roof to fix it all.
